Google Workspace for Education Plus Updates
Google Calendar: Snooze Calendar Desktop Notifications
You will see this update if you have Calendar notifications enabled AND you are using the Chrome browser. When your Calendar reminder notifications pop up, you will now be able to snooze them, by clicking on the notification, until closer to the event. This should help you not miss those meetings. This update should be available now.
Google Calendar: Be Informed When Someone Subscribes to Email Notifications of Your Calendar
When you share your calendar with others, they have the option to subscribe to changes you make on your calendar. You will now receive an email when they subscribe to be notified to your calendar changes. Read the full info here.
Google Drive: Find Files Shared With You Using Updated Search Operators
To make it a little easier to find files in Drive, Google has added some search operators and adjusted how some of the existing operators work. You can enter these search operators into the search field in Drive to look for files.
- from now finds files shared with you by a certain email address, not just those files owned by that user.
- to now finds files that you have shared with a certain email addres, not just files that users has permission to view, comment or edit.
- sharedwith is new, and will find files that a certain email address owns, or has permission to view, comment or edit.
- owner will find files owned by the email address you enter.

Google Meet: Live Captions Now Available in More Languages
Captions in Google Meet can now be enabled in French, German, Portugese and Spanish. Captions are helpful for those who speak a different language, are in noisy environments, are hearing impaired or have a listening disability. Learn more about using captions in Meet here. If you are not already seeing this feature, it should be available by the end of March.
